Bounty - The Greatest Sea Story of Them All
Pilot Light President Geoff D’Eon is now a published author, with the Fall 2018
release of his first book. It covers both the original eighteenth century ship HMAV
Bounty on which the most infamous mutiny in the history of the British Navy played
out; and also the replica of Bounty built in Nova Scotia in 1960 to meet the demands
of MGM’s blockbuster movie Mutiny On The Bounty. The
Lunenburg-built Bounty went on to have a colourful 50 year career before sinking in
Hurricane Sandy in 2012, with loss of life. The book was commissioned by Formac
Publishing following the success off the award-winning documentary Bounty - Into The
Hurricane. The book is available in all major Canadian bookstores,
and on Amazon. In 2019 it will be distributed in the USA and the United Kingdom.
Other documentary projects in research and pre-development phase.
